We went here as we are local and the pamphlet in our mailbox was very tempting. Staff were pleasant. Upon getting home with our order, my chicken dish was actually beef, no worries, I like beef, sadly the beef was very tough and the veges very limp, no crispness. My partner’s curry was not warm, was very watery and tasteless, with limp veges. The king prawn entree was fresh, but not crispy nor appetising. The rice was not warm enough and possibly had been sitting too long. The food is packaged nicely, but the taste and quality we felt was very disappointing.

We couldn’t decide what to eat, and I thought this place always looking intriguing so we parked up and walked in. The menu is a nice range and at first, I thought the prices were a bit on the higher side for thai. The bf wanted to try it so we persevered and ventured for 2 dishes. Green Curry with chicken and the spicy noodles. I order a pratha with the curry which was overpriced in my mind until I opened it up at home to see it is a reasonable size to make up for it. They said it was going to be 15 minutes before it was ready so they offered to deliver it to our place down the road. They were fairly on time with the deilvery and the food was still piping hot. So for the price you pay, the delivery and freshness make up for it. You can order online as well.. may keep it in mind for a lazy sunday

The bakery next to Piano Traders seems to have turned into a branch of a modern westernised Thai takeaway. They do lots of things right, with fresh and plentiful leaves in the salads, good estimates of waiting times and stylish black bottomed takeaway boxes. However, the it wasn’t what I would consider to be authentic Thai. The Pad Thai was nice only after we added lemon juice and fish sauce, the BBQ Chicken were chunks of breast meat, and the Spicy Beef Salad, although it had great flavours, seemed a bit odd served with fancy lettuce. Never having been to Thailand, I probably shouldn’t be making comments on authenticity… Would have given 3.5 stars based on great freshness and presentation. Would probably appeal more to the general audience.
