My partner and I dined here for dinner. My partner ordered the Surf n Turf and I ordered the BLT with fries both were delicious. Very reasonably priced, and the service was great, it was not very busy while we where there and we didn’t have to wait at all to be seated, we did not have a reservation. Couldn’t fault anything here.

I have now eaten twice recently at Rebo as I often stay at the SkyCity Hotel and have been disappointed on both occasions. Last trip I ordered a steak which came out overcooked, this was then replaced with one that was cooked to my liking but was thn so grisly that I would have been better off with the overcooked option.

This morning I went for breakfast as I was in a rush but couldn’t eat it. The toast was cold, the bacon burnt and the poached eggs apart from looking hideous tasted only of vinegar.

Thoroughly disappointed that somewhere in this location cannot even get the basics right!

Had the bucket of garlic prawns. The prawns arrived and were amazing to look st. Fat, juicy and fresh. Unfortunately i was put off as they were not deveinec and there was hardly any garlic in the butter sauce.

Rebo has changed. We often ate here and even though the menu seemed limited, the few things we ordered like the steak and fish n chips we great! We had many a birthday here just to have the pizza and everyone we bought here enjoyed it. No longer is the case. We bought a client and his family here last month only to be bitterly disappointed in the change of menu and at a glance it seemed like a good change, however when we finally did get our meals – all at seperate times they were average. The club sandwich is literally a chicken sandwich…one that Denny’s would easily rival. I really enjoyed my seafood pasta, however, its not something that would pull me back for.
Service however polite was painfully slow, having to wave down a waiter to have our drinks topped up, and leave our seats to ask at the front to have a waiter take our dessert orders. So disappointed that we have lost our reliable eatery.

Food was OK.
Service attentive and friendly.
Slightly over priced but convenient for film festival.
Would go back for casual eats or with family group.

Great food and great deal! pizza + 2 wine + salad combo is well worth the money! pizza sure taste better than my expectation, thin crust is well made, thought it would be crispy like most pizzas I had, but its actually soft, even when it gets cold, still stays soft and eatable!! Nery nice! Flavor is just right! salad is nothing fancy, with basic dressing and sea salts i believe, portion is great for 2!

Grilled sticks are also recommended! their sauce is definitely the highlight! Service was friendly, manager seems to be doing his job right!

I’d give them 4 stars, but with some hassle free extra discounts from action rewards, it’s such a bargain! :)

The food was great and staff was friendly.
The two of us ordered a 4-stick beef kebab for appetizer ($10), and their special deal with 2 glasses of wine (or non-alcoholic drinks), a pizza from the menu, and a choice of salad or fries for side dish (just under $25).
The beef kebab was well-flavoured but was not as tender as we would hope, which was expected. But the dipping sauce was exceptionally nice. Didn’t feel like ready-made sauce from a bottle.
We had the chicken pizza, which was very delicious with well-balanced flavours. The salad was a good portion too. Will be going back again.

The main courses were far too complicated with a myriad of flavours that didn’t quite gel. My Scotch fillet was OK, but the potato had died some time before the meal, and who knows what was in the orange coloured mash. The sauce was good.

The dessert was interesting, creme brulee on a pizza base.

The worst features of the restaurant were the dimness of the room and the fact that there were two competing sets of music going virtually all the time, one from inside the restaurant and the other from the main part of the Sky City building. The latter was the louder, but both could be heard. One has to wonder why the restaurant keeps its own pre-recorded music on when there is live music outside.

I would not willingly return to this restaurant. There are plenty of better restaurants in Auckland.
