Here is a place to eat hot and spicy food including Chinese Si Chuan food. The place is fairly big though you do not see it from outside. The menu is very extensive and food was good. The prices were very cheap but the dishes were not big either.

I have dinned here a few times to try out what i like in the menu and most of the dishes were very very oily. They were keen to hear our views but did not see any changes.

Hi, Thank you very much been our loyal customer and we appreciate your patronage and comment. As regarding to the dish been oily, I believe you must had ordered the Sichuan dishes. I do agree the nature of this kind of cooking are very heavy and oily to NZ standard. Sichuan province are located on the south western of China surrounded with mountains. because of the geographical environment and high humidity, Sichuan people believes by taking stronger (heavier taste) and peppercorn (numbing) it helps releasing inner body heat. I do want to make the changes to suit individual taste bud, please do inform our waiting staff when you order next time if you do not wish to have it too oily. I’ll make sure the kitchen follows your request, of-cause without jeopardising the principal.
