We have frequented the Horse and Trap over the years and have had no reason to complain until our last visit.

I love the Horse and Trap. I used to go the pub quizz every Tuesday night and would often order meals before the quizz. Have never experienced anything other than good service and great meals there. Most recently had dinner there a couple of months ago with my husband before heading to the Powerstation for a gig. I thoroughly enjoyed the salt and pepper squid so much that we went back with our teenage sons for dinner a few weeks later. As expected, we all enjoyed our meals. Thanks Horse and Trap. Love the H & T. Great food, great beer, lovely atmosphere but agree that the staff have little interest in anything and are fairly robotic and blank – and I go there a lot…still, you don;t go for the staff chat everything else makes it worth it.

Rubbish service, snooty bar tenders and the staff just seem to have no interest in you or your order. Bar got our drinks and entreés wrong 3 times (there was only 3 of us), so we paid and left. Beautiful decor, so hey, at least you’ve got one thing going.
