I visit Herzog at least 3 times year as I travel around the wine regions of New Zealand with my clients. Every time we visit Marlborough Herzog is the first thing on my list. The service is impeccable and the food is absolutely divine. From the moment you walk through the door you are a greeted with a smile and a glass of bubbles. I highly recommend the 7 course degustation dining experience it’s an absolute must for anyone dinning here. Another treat is the Kitchen Confidential experience. You arrive an hour or two before dinner and meet with Herzog’s Michelin Star rated chefs. Enjoy watching them prepare everything from freshly baked bread to the desserts on offer on the menu of the evening. Another favourite with my clients is the Herzog culinary class. You need to book ahead and the minimum number for a private class to go ahead is 4. The private culinary class will begin in the morning where you will help to prepare and cook a 3 course lunch that you will sit down and enjoy in the restaurant or on the porch in their beautiful gardens.
