Well I ordered a mocha frappe after waiting for the lady at the counter to get the previous customers order correct…. Which took some time. I ordered and paid, waited for my drink and the “barista” had made me a hot mocha.. When I questioned this she said to me “did you order a frappe” I said yes, she was dismissive and wasn’t apologetic and didn’t offer to make me what I actually ordered. She said “It’s nice just have that one” … At other cafes if they muck up my order they promptly apologise and make me another one, i would happily have paid the difference if a frappe was more expensive. It seems esquires have forgotten the golden rule, the customer is always right.
