I am such a fan of sushi! My favourite Sushi in Lower Hutt. Service is lovely, chicken & chive dumplings are to die for, so are their pork buns. But the sushi is amazing, lots of great flavours and variety.
Super cheap and awesome!

Fresh delicious sushi. Get sushi and dumplings here regularly. The service is great, highly recommend A1 Sushi, it lives up to its name. Added bonus, value for money really affordable as well. Evening menu is also great.

I am an avid fan of sushi…and A1 Sushi is certainly up there with fabulous sushi. It’s really fresh and generous..not loaded with rice-just lots of great quality fillings. I am grateful that they are in Petone, simply the best in the Hutt by far and would give many of the Wellington sushi bars a run for their money. You are always welcomed with a smile and the service is exemplary…it’s a gem of a place. Please go and support them-you won’t be disappointed.

Not much more to say really, best Sushi/Takeaway Japanese meals in Lower Hutt/Petone

Try the chicken teriyaki +++, also the dumplings and miso are fantastic

This place is so great. I have been to a lot of really great sushi places on Jackson Street. It is the best sushi that I have had in Lower Hutt and certainly matches up to my favorites. Great food, great service and some divine special rolls. Great!!!

I love their sushi and fried dumplings, they always offer quality products and keep the price lower, good job.

They change their menu regularly, their chefs have creative ideas, to encourage me to come and try regularly.

Nice dining environment, simple, clean, warm, give me a good memory as at home country.

Overall, all good, will come again, my first choice.

AI Sushi, Whatever… That’s Awesome, especially ‘Seafood Udon Noddle’.

Japanese food is my favourite big flavours, real clean and pretty food favourite sushi Edo nigiri combo e.g prawn,tuna, slamon,eel; but the best one is ‘Seafood Udon Noddle’ prawns, Fish Balls, Fish Cake, Egg Dumplings, Crab Meat, Vegetables and Udon noodles in real fish soup with a little fish flake, served with a their special chill-sauce. I crave that every day.

If you love sushi and Japanese food and you are in Lower Hutt, Wellington, try to go in AI SUSHI Japanese Takeaway & Restaurant.
